I cannot praise Marie at the Shirley Branch highly enough. She helped me organise my husbands funeral recently and did an amazing job. She took all the stress and worry away and was always on hand to answer my questions. I would highly recommend this Firm

I have nothing but praise especially for Samantha who was exceptional, kind caring and professional and whose attention to detail ensured my Aunty was honoured in exactly the way I wished. Helen who was the funeral director on the day was equally amazing and couldn’t have done more for us. I can highly recommend this incredible team.

Sam at the woolston branch was an absolute gem, her dedication to making sure the funeral went to plan, every detail we asked for was met, when Dad was brought into the care of Matthews he was looked after and when we went to see him the environment was so special, every care was met 100% thank you to the whole team from start to finish, I would definitely recommend them if you are looking for a funeral directors that will give you the time needed and even making last minute changes Matthews will make this happen, Thank you from the bottom of our hearts from the whole of the Forsythe family x

I cannot possibly thank B Matthews enough for their kind, professional and caring service. Samantha was exceptional in everything she did for us from the moment of my Aunty's passing to the funeral and afterwards. The funeral service was everything we wished for our beloved Aunty and more. On the day, Helen our funeral director was so thoughtful and caring and ensured everything ran smoothly carrying out our wishes to the letter. The staff were excellent too. I will be forever grateful and can highly recommend them to anyone experiencing a very difficult time on the loss of a loved one. Their assistance helped us so very much. Sam (from B Matthews Woolston) was an incredible support with the planning of my mums funeral. Sam showed patience and kindness throughout the process and my Father and I never felt rushed or that any request was too much. Sam was always timely and professional and managed with coordinating family members in different time zones seamlessly. We had a beautiful church service and celebration of mums life afterwards and all was exactly how we wanted it and how my mother would have wanted it too.

Samantha Appleton's kindness, support, and organization to us all made it so easy to put our fathers funeral together even though we changed our mind on his Order of Service completely two days before the service and she still managed to get this reprinted in time.
The male members of our family decided that they would like to carry Dad into the chapel and they were offered superb advice from the funeral staff on the day.
A very pleasant experience with no glitches on such a sad day for us all and we couldn't have done it without the fabulous guidance from the staff at the funeral home and the staff at the chapel.
